Nothing suffices,
No level of effort is ever enough.
Love is not even a possibility,
The curse continues.
They only commit for the good times,
Challenges never accepted.
The outsider always seems better,
You can never compete the other.
It’s always a war between right and respite.
Every other moment is a burden,
You run to places only to be back there.
It’s a spiral that you are going down,
But can never come out.
Every time it breaks your heart harder,
But you still try to come back stronger.
You hide your crushing eternal pain,
So, you are not the reason for things not being plain.
The heartaches every time when you hope,
And then you see yourself falling down the slope.
Acceptance is also not the option,
Coz, you have to be there and only there.
You give up and dream to run away one day,
But then the sunrises and again it’s the same day.
